Step 1: Connecting to the TV

Connect the included HDMI cable to the back of the cube and to an HDMI port on your TV. Make sure it's snugly plugged in.
Using your TV remote, switch the input source to the correct HDMI port (for example, HDMI 1 or HDMI 2).

Step 2: Connecting to power

Connect the included USB-C power cable to the USB-C port on the back of the cube. Make sure it's snugly plugged in.
Plug the power cable into a wall outlet. Preferably, avoid extension cords or power strips.
Use the original Nex Playground power cable only. Using other cables may damage the main unit.

Step 3: Setting up the remote

Insert the included batteries into the remote. And please make sure they have the positive side downwards.

Step 4: Complete on-screen setup

Follow the on-screen prompts to complete first-time setup.

During account creation, you will have the option to buy a Play Pass or enter an activation code to unlock additional games. This step is optional and can be skipped.

Step 5: Turn on Game Mode on your TV (recommended)

If your TV has Game Mode, turn it on for Nex Playground.

You can usually find this in your TV’s picture settings. You can also check the instructions at the bottom of this page.

Downloading games

The 5 Starter Pack games will start downloading automatically as long as you are connected to Wi-Fi. This can take up to an hour depending on your internet speed.
1. If you activated a Play Pass, the additional games will also start downloading. The Play Pass downloads can take up to 1 hour depending on your internet speed.
Once you no longer see Pending/Installing… under the game tiles, they have been downloaded. Press Play on the game tile to start!
