I am seeing a black screen/blank screen

Try these troubleshooting steps if you are seeing a blank/black screen:

Additionally, if you are experiencing other display issues such as a green screen or boot loops, these steps may also help resolve the problem.

  1. Try connecting Nex Playground to other HDMI ports on your television.

  2. Try disconnecting all other connections to your television. In some cases streaming devices or receivers may interfere with Nex Playground connection.

  3. Try another HDMI cable, if possible.

  4. For Samsung TV customers, try using the HDMI Troubleshooting feature:

    1. Press the Home button on your remote control and navigate to Settings > Support.

    2. Select Device Care.

    3. Select Self Diagnosis.

    4. Select HDMI Troubleshooting from the menu.

    5. Check the connected HDMI ports in sequential order.

If the issue persists, please reboot Playground by unplugging the power cord from both the device and the wall outlet. Wait at least 10 seconds before plugging it back in. Ensure the power adapter is connected directly to a wall outlet, not a power strip, to rule out potential power-strip faults.
