Introducing Play OS 1.5! As of late September 2024, we pushed a new operating system to Playground and encourage all users to update to this version or newer.
To check what Playground version you are running:
Go to the top menu bar and click System.
Select About.
If you are running an older version (1.4 and below), to upgrade your operation system:
Check if Playground didn’t get disconnected from Wi-Fi. I am not seeing the latest game release/not receiving game updates on my Playground walks through how to check if you are connected to internet.
Depending on the speed of your connection, it could take up to 30 minutes for the updates to download. Once the download is complete, you will be prompted to restart the Playground.
If your Wi-Fi is connected and it has been longer than 30 minutes:
Try manually restarting Playground by unplugging and re-plugging your device.
Check your internet speed. If you have tried the above and the system still fails to update, it could be due to slow speed.
